Bioresorbable magnesium material
HZG / C. Schmid
HZG researchers have developed a biodegradable implant material based on magnesium. This thereby renders a second surgery unnecessary, in which the implant would need to be removed. Further details can be found in our offer (217 KB)
Metal Injection Molding (MIM) with magnesium
HZG / C. Schmid
Small, intricately formed magnesium components produced using conventional processing technologies is very laborious. The greenhouse gas sulphur hexafluoride has so far been used for this purpose. Creating large TiAl components

Optimised Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis
HZG / PMV
Using the newest membrane technologies, Fischer-Tropsch plants could be optimised to obtain the highest possible yield in gas separation processes.
