EARIV - European Analytical Research Infrastructure Village

Logo-new2019-2

Europe has the world's best portfolio of research infrastructures, used annually by a broad and dynamic user community of tens of thousands of scientists. These unique, yet still exotic, research facilities such as neutron and synchrotron radiation sources provide remarkable insights into all types of matter, especially new materials and nanoscale materials. The research infrastructures not only serve basic research, but are increasingly in demand as a tool for industrial research. There are various possibilities: from the paid acquisition of the beam time to research cooperations with the respective research centers. There are also a number of EU-funded initiatives to strengthen cooperation between major research institutions and European industry, allowing companies to benefit from free test measurements. more
