Circulation and wave modelling, coastal ocean predictions, coupled model systems, modelling of marine environment, wave dynamics, coastal and regional oceanography.

• Analysis and numerical simulation to characterize the variability of the extremes over decadal to multi-decadal temporal scales.
• Sea state and sea-level variability, over multiple temporal (daily to decadal) and spatial (mesoscale, sub-mesocale) scales.
• Mesoscale and submesocale ocean variability (eddies).
• Numerical simulations, ocean synthesis based on long-term runs, OSEs and OSSEs.
• Time series analysis, spectral analysis, extreme values analysis, decomposition over leading modes of variability.
• In-situ and remote sensing data.
