Science and Economy
Our research has a highly practical focus, and we offer companies a wide range of possibilities for collaboration. This ranges from contract research and licensing for companies to publicly funded projects, scientific consulting and the provision of lab services.
To date, some 18 companies have been set up by scientists of the Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht. Many of these start-ups are based at the Geesthacht Innovation and Technology Center (GITZ).
