Spektroskopy & thermal characterisation

The routine analytics carried out in the service group cover the characterisation of thermal and spectroscopic properties of the materials synthesised in the institute. For this purpose, a wide range of instruments is available: DSC (differential scanning calorimetry), TGA (thermogravimetric analysis), NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy), FT-IR (Fourier transform spectroscopy), UV-VIS (ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy), Raman spectroscopy. Part of the instrumentation is available to all employees of the institute and is maintained by the service group. More demanding analysis is carried out in the full service workshop, with intensive feedback of the results to the users.
