Polymer Synthesis

The department Polymersynthesis develops, synthethises and characterises tailored monomers and polymers. The field of application ranges from the research of structure-properties relationships of nanostructured polymer materials over the development of new polymers with high free volume to the production of catalytic active membranes.

To cover this broad range of tasks, the department Polymersynthesis is devided into two Service Groups (Anionic Polymerisation/Chromatographie and Spectroscopie/Thermal Characterisation) and one Focus Group (Polymers with high free Volume).
