Structural Research on Macromolecules
Here you find a short overview about the Department "Structural Research on Macromolecules". Topic of the group is the study of cellular reactions with respect to new implant materials. The research comprises research on the interaction of surfaces and molecules with biomembranes and the development and optimization of new metallic biomaterials. Neutrons and X-rays as probes to study the structure of the materials play a central role in this work.
