Powder Technology
The department Powder Technology is working on application and development of the Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) technology for near-net-shape production of small and geometrically complex components. Focus is laid on special techniques for processing of titanium based materials including the development of alloys adapted to the specific manufacturing route and aiming at optimal mechanical properties. Development is performed with respect to both conventional alloys and titanium-aluminides for high-temperature application.
