FerryBox Activities in Different Fields

Welcome to the FerryBox Website of Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht!

On this site all activities that are related to the FerryBox development are bundled.

This includes the FerryBox itself and some other international projects in which either a stationary FerryBox, i.e., a system at the shore, or a moving FerryBox, i.e., on a ferry or other ship of opportunity is used as research instrument.

In addition, you will find here descriptions of developments for sensors that will be adapted to FerryBoxes in the near future.
