FerryBox Database

All data from the FerryBox cruises are stored in a database that can be reached from the internet.
Output in graphical from istfree for the public.
If you have non-commercial research interests in the data itself, please contact Dr- Petersen (wilhelm.petersen (at) gkss.de).
There are 5 different graphical formats:
1) Transect Plot I: Here you can view one or more measured parameters from a single ferry transect.
2) Transect Plot II: Here you can view one parameters from multiple transects.
3) Time Series Plot: Here you choose alocation on a ferry transect and get all data (one or multiple parameters) for each time when the ferry crossed this spott (time series for this location).
4) Scatter Plot: Here you can have an overview on multiple transects arranged in a column: On the x-axis the transect (distance)  and on the y-axis the time (weeks, months) are depicted. The data itself are presented as colour-coded 'dots".
5) Map Plot: On this type of plot a map with the ferry transect is presented. Its color represents the measured data.
