In the last years many changes concerning rules regulations and norms have taken place due to the fact of harmonizing these within in the european union. Engineers at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht are aware of this fact. Systems and devices are developed and build up within these rules and regulations. So we have a software "Safeexpert" to be aware of all risks and make suggestions to avoid or minimize any risks that could appear in the lifetime of any plants and devices. To avoid electro-magnetic interference we have an EMI-lab to measure and protcol every machnine that is created by us.
